The Healthcare Informatics and Solution team in IBM China Research Laboratory (CRL), one of IBM top research labs located in Beijing, is expanding its research team. We have
position opening for worldwide researchers who are interested and/or experienced in exploring innovative information management and knowledge discovery technologies in
healthcare and bio-informatics area. Thus we are looking for most talented and motivated researchers to join this research team.

Role:        Researcher or R&D Engineer
Position Available: 1
Working Location:      Beijing, China
Candidates:    Ph.D. or Master Degree majored in CS, EE, Medical Informatics or related;
Language:   Fluently Chinese and English

Job Responsibility: R&D in Healthcare Informatics and Solution, working in one of following areas
Area 1: Interoperable Healthcare Information Modeling, Sharing, Integration and Storage Design and Implementation
Area 2: Healthcare Knowledge Discovery & Decision Support based on Data Warehouse/Mining/Reasoning technologies

Skill Requirement
* For Area1: Deep knowledge & experience in healthcare information standards, e.g. HL7, IHE, ASTM CCR        ---4~5
* For Area2: Deep knowledge & experience in healthcare or bio-informatics related knowledge discovery/mining  ---4~5
* Knowledge of Semantic Web, Ontology, Logic Rule, and Deductive DB is a strong plus          ---4~5
* R&D experience on XQuery/XPath, Native XML DB Optimization, or Distributed DB is a strong plus       ---3~5
* Development experience in JAVA, SQL                 ---2~4
* Independent working, communication and teamwork skill              ---3~5

Skill Level Description:
1 - No experience, limited knowledge;
2 - Very limited experience, has general knowledge only;
3 - Has performed independently in routine situations, can perform with assistance, has applied knowledge;
4 - Repeated experience without assistance, has in-depth knowledge, can direct other in performing;
5 - Extensive and comprehensive experience, comprehensive knowledge, can give expert advice and lead others to perform.
