Track record of the Supervisor:

Huaiqing Wang is a Professor at the Department of Information Systems. He is the Honorary Dean and a Guest Professor of the School of Information Engineering, Wuhan University of Technology, China; and a Guest Professor of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China. He received his PhD in Computer Science from University of Manchester, UK, in 1987. He has published more than 50 SCI journal articles and received more than 200 SCI citations. The applicant, Professor Huaiqing Wang, has excellent SCI publication record. He has published a number of top SCI papers, including two papers in “Artificial Intelligence”, which is the best journal in the AI area, and two papers in “IEEE Transactions of Knowledge and Data Engineering”, which is the top journal in the Knowledge and Data Engineering area. He has also published a number of other very good SCI journal papers, including “Communications of the ACM”, “IEEE Transactions on Robotics and Automation”, “IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems”, “Information & Management”, and “Decision Support Systems”, etc. Under Professor Wang’s supervision, it is easy for the candidate to conduct higher standard research and publish a few good SCI journal papers.
